Teddy's Blog

Tis the season to be jolly, Especially for those brain dead disfunctional emotionless b*****ds. Who prey on the good nature of prospective buyers, conning them into buying one or more of their pathetic sad puppy's. Which have been bread from their damp, squaild and over crowded breeding establishments. Thousands of innocent puppys suffering intolerable cruelty each year.

This is one such case as told through the eyes of
                                          "TEDDY"

Hello fellow woofers and your human companions my name is Teddy and I am a Cockerpoo. I'm about 20 weeks old I think!

I didn’t have the best start in life, I came from a place called a puppy farm and it was very frightening and miserable and I didn’t even know that there were nice humans. In my little world I just seen a hand throwing a bowl onto the floor and then something coming into our cage and taking away my brothers and sisters. Life was very sad for us and my poor mummy and I didn’t know what happened when the “”human””” came and took us away.  I soon found out.

Meet my new mum Lindsay, she has something called a husband (is that another dog ?? ). Well this husband decided my mummy was sad because their old dog had gone to a place called Rainbow Bridge, it sounds a really nice place but when my new mum talks about it water comes from her eyes.

Anyway back to the husband, he decided that Lindsay, (my new mum) needed a new dog to help her feel better and start going out on something called walks again. So guess who they picked MEEEE.

Back in my cage the “”human”” came in and picked me up. I didn’t like it but was too frightened to move, and they took me to a place called MacDonalds by the Trafford Centre and gave me to another human (yes you guessed right Lindsay) and they drove off. I had never been out before and I was really really scared , I buried my head under the seat of the new car (smelt much nicer than the other one) and I cried and shook all the way to my new home.

Well I was brought to a big big place that had windows and doors and things called chairs, and television and settee, and washing machine, and hoover, and bath and cooker all these things I think humans like. And guess what my furry followers I was given a big soft thing called a dog bed. I didn’t like any of these things though coz I was so small and frightened and I thought if I hide in a corner or under a table I will feel better and nothing will hurt me.

Now my new mum was very nice to me and tried to help me, I didn’t know what proper dog food was or if these humans touch you it is called a stroke and it doesent mean they are going to hurt you. My mum, who is very clever by the way, decided that I needed some help, so she took me to this very scary place called a training school.

Oh dear hope it doesent hurt, I will let you know how I get on my friends.

UPDATE:

Teddy hear again, well off I went to the training school and I met more humans and these are called trainers. Well in true Teddy fashion I hid in the corner under the table and watched and wondered what was going to happen. Mum and the “trainers” started having a little chat about me and I had to listen hard to hear because the spoke very quietly and they didn’t try and drag me out from my safe place. Then my mum got up and got me from my hiding space, she is very gentle you know, and we went home again. Well that wasn’t too bad but I will decide if I like this place if mum takes me back.

UPDATE:

Teddy here my furry friends and guess what I went back to the training school again. Well  I hid in my little corner, I am not soft you know its safe here. Then  this trainer started dropping little bits of stuff on the floor and then just sat and talked with my mum. Well don’t know about you guys but have you ever heard of a thing called livercake  WOAW it’s the best thing on the planet, apart from my family and new friends, but it smells great. Well I came out a little bit and a little bit more and before I knew it I was in the middle of the floor. How did I get here, those trainers are sneaky you know coz I left my safe place. But guys let me tell you the trainer brought in this very big dog, called a greyhound she said, and just let it walk around. I was a bit scared at first but then I thought shes a nice looking girlie dog will go over and introduce myself, and guess what she liked me and I really liked her and now she is my best friend. Her name is Brandi and I follow her everywhere. Her mum says she is very old but I don’t care because I couldn’t walk very far at first anyway.

I went onto the field today with my buddy Brandi and you wont believe this but little old me followed her over something called an A frame. Imagine that guys little scardy cat me doing agility. Then we had a lovely play and Brandi’s mum and my mum said we will try the tunnel next week. Oooh not sure about that.

UPDATE:

Well Brandi and the nice lady, I think my mum calls her Mary weren’t here today but there was a man and woaw you should have seen the size of the dog he brought in for me to meet. I thought Brandi was big but this was huge. Well his name is George and he is what you call a Great Dane, he was great coz he was super friendly with me and he let me chase him and I was so happy. We went on the big field again and I showed George how to go up and down the a frame properly, he said he was grateful and we had a little chat and it turns out he knows Brandi as well, and he said in a few weeks I can meet some of the others. Well there is another big Great Dane called Walter and a scruffy looking thing called a lurcher and she is really very pretty and her name is Smudge It. Cant wait.

UPDATE:

Looking forward to today at training because I am going to watch a class of dogs. They were very good, a few of them I could give a few pointers too. Look Ive told you the secret look cute do a few things and our lovely humans are happy. Well after the class I got to meet my other friends, Walter and Smudge It and of course George and Brandi kept a close eye on me in case the young’uns were a bit too rough with me. I love it I played and played and I wasn’t a bit frightened because you know they are all very big and I am only a little chap really.

UPDATE:

Well I don’t want to brag but I don’t even go into the corner anymore when I go training, I run in and wait to see which friend I am playing with today. My mum told Mary that I don’t hide at home anymore and that I have been exploring. They both had a little bit of water in their eyes. These humans are very silly. And best news Les says I can come down loads of times to see my friends and watch the classes and very soon I will be confident enough to go through the tunnel.  I think when I grow up I might be a trainer and help other dogs like me, mind you hopefully the humans will stop the naughty way they treat us and there wont be as many dogs as frightened as I was. I am still frightened of things but I am learning with my wonderful family and doggy friends that the world is not a big scary place and that some humans are nice.

Pssssst don’t tell anyone but I think I am in love with Brandi.
